Blue Zirconia Ceramic Rod Product Introduction

Zirconia ceramic (ZrO₂), doped with stabilizers (such as Y₂O₃) and blue colorants (such as cobalt or cerium compounds).

1. Core Characteristics

Bending strength: ≥1000 MPa (significantly higher than ordinary ceramics).

Fracture toughness: 5-10 MPa·m¹/² (close to metals), excellent impact resistance.

High temperature resistance: Long-term operating temperature up to 1400℃, melting point up to 2700℃.

Chemical inertness: Resistant to acid/alkali corrosion, biocompatibility meets ISO 5832-3 standard (suitable for medical implants).

2. Special Functionality

Blue appearance: Stable blue color achieved through ion doping, providing both decorative and identification functions (e.g., distinguishing product specifications).

Low thermal conductivity (2-3 W/m·K), suitable for high-temperature insulation applications.

Low coefficient of friction (0.1-0.3), wear resistance is more than 15 times that of steel.

3. Precision Machining Adaptability

Surface finish can reach Ra ≤0.02 μm (mirror finish).

Supports precision machining such as CNC turning, grinding, and polishing (dimensional accuracy ±0.01mm).
