Silicon Nitride Nut Product Introduction
Silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) is a high-performance structural ceramic material with the following core characteristics:
1. Physical properties: Vickers hardness up to HV10 ≥ 1600, second only to superhard materials such as diamond; excellent fracture toughness (6-7 MPa·m¹/²), bending strength >800 MPa.
2. Thermal properties: High temperature resistance (stable in air up to 1000-1200℃), low thermal expansion coefficient (2.3-3.2 × 10⁻⁶/K), and strong thermal shock resistance.
3. Chemical stability: Corrosion resistance (except to hydrofluoric acid), oxidation resistance, suitable for harsh environments.
Application Fields
Silicon nitride nuts are mainly used in the following applications:
1. Industrial field: Mechanical sealing rings, high-temperature molds, wear-resistant components.
2. High-end manufacturing: Aerospace engine components, high-temperature resistant parts for semiconductor equipment.
3. Special environments: Corrosive chemical environments, high-temperature continuous casting equipment in metallurgy.
