Zirconia Ceramic Valve Core and Sleeve Product Introduction

Zirconia ceramic valve cores and sleeves are precision fluid control components manufactured using high-performance zirconia ceramic (ZrO₂) as the core material. They possess characteristics such as high hardness, high toughness, low thermal conductivity, high melting point, high temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance. These products demonstrate superior performance advantages in the industrial valve field and are widely used in fluid control applications under complex operating conditions.

Technical Parameters and Performance Characteristics

1. High Material Purity: The base material is high-purity zirconium dioxide ceramic (ZrO₂), which is milky white in its pure state and appears light yellow after the addition of modified rare earth materials.

2. High Forming Accuracy: The sphericity of the spheres is strictly controlled, and the surface finish reaches W2 grade (ultra-precision machining standard).

Outstanding Mechanical Properties:

Rockwell hardness of HRA88 or higher.

Bending strength exceeding 800 MPa.

Compressive strength exceeding 3000 MPa.

3. Strong Chemical Stability:  Except for glass solutions and hydrofluoric acid, it exhibits extremely strong resistance to corrosive media such as acids, bases, and salts.

Core Advantages

1. Extra-long service life: Under harsh working conditions (such as high pressure, high-speed fluid flow, and particle erosion), the valve can withstand up to 10,000 cycles without leakage.

2. Corrosion and wear resistance: High hardness (HRA88+) and dense structure enable it to withstand long-term erosion from hard particle media.

3. Superior sealing performance: Achieves "zero leakage" sealing effect, and the low torque design reduces operating torque.

4. Strong structural stability: High bending strength and high-temperature resistance (suitable for most industrial high-temperature applications).

Application Fields

Zirconia ceramic valve cores and valve seats are widely used in industrial applications with stringent requirements for sealing performance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance:

1. Energy and Power: Boiler steam pipelines, flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, and ash and slag removal devices in thermal power plants.

2. Chemical and Metallurgy: Acid, alkali, and salt media transfer valves in petroleum refining and chemical reactors, and slurry control valves for media containing particles/fibers.

3. Pharmaceutical and Food: Purified water systems and high-purity fluid control.

4. Aerospace: High-temperature and high-pressure fluid control systems.
