Zirconia Ceramic Shaft Product Introduction:

Zirconia ceramic shafts are shaft products made from high-performance ceramic materials primarily composed of zirconium dioxide (ZrO₂).  They are typically white at room temperature and contain trace amounts of hafnium dioxide (HfO₂) and the stabilizer yttrium oxide (Y₂O₃). Their core characteristics include:

1. High melting point: Up to 2715℃, suitable for high-temperature applications.

2. High hardness: HV1250, far exceeding most metal materials.

3. Excellent wear resistance: Achieved through phase transformation toughening via crystal structure changes (monoclinic phase, tetragonal phase, cubic phase).

4. Corrosion resistance: Resistant to strong acids, strong bases, inorganic salts, seawater, and other corrosive media.

5. Insulating properties: Allows for continuous operation in high-temperature environments under oil-free lubrication conditions.

Perpendicularity: 0.05 mm.

Straightness: 0.01 mm.

Surface roughness: 0.2 μm.

Density: Only 40% of steel.

Coefficient of friction: 0.002 (approximately 0.01 for steel bearings).

2. Environmental Adaptability:

Operating temperature range: -200℃ to 800℃.

Acid and alkali corrosion resistance: Resistant to strong acids such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, and strong alkaline solutions.

Insulation performance: High electrical resistance, suitable for electrical equipment.
