Zirconia Ceramic Gear Product Introduction

Zirconia ceramic is a high-performance ceramic material primarily composed of zirconium dioxide (ZrO₂).  At room temperature, it is mostly white and contains trace amounts of hafnium dioxide (HfO₂) and the stabilizer yttrium oxide (Y₂O₃). Its characteristics include:

1. High melting point: Reaching 2715℃, suitable for high-temperature environments.

2. High hardness: HV1250, exhibiting excellent wear resistance.

3. High toughness: Achieved through phase transformation toughening via crystal structure transformation (monoclinic phase, tetragonal phase, cubic phase).

4. Other characteristics: Corrosion resistance, non-magnetic and non-conductive, self-lubricating properties, and environmentally friendly.

Application Areas

1. Medical Field: Dental restorative materials (dental crowns, bridges), artificial joints and orthopedic implants, high-precision surgical instruments.

2. Industrial Machinery: Wear-resistant components (bearings, valves, pump bodies), cutting tools, oil extraction equipment.

3. Electronics and Semiconductors: Oxygen sensors, piezoelectric devices, integrated circuit substrates.
