Zirconia ceramic ball valve

Ultra-long service life: Withstands up to 10,000 switching cycles without leakage under harsh operating conditions.

Adaptable to complex working conditions: Resistant to high pressure, high-speed fluid flow, and particle erosion; wear rate is only 1/10 of that of metal valves.

Low maintenance costs: Reduces maintenance and replacement frequency, significantly reducing downtime.

Lightweight design: Low density (3.5-4.5 g/cm³), lighter than traditional metal materials.

Structural stability: High bending strength (over 800 MPa) and high-temperature resistance.

Ⅰ.Zirconia Ceramic Ball Valve Product Introduction:

Zirconia ceramic ball valves are industrial valves with zirconia (ZrO₂) ceramic material as their core component, primarily used for controlling highly abrasive and corrosive media. Their core components include a zirconia ceramic ball, valve seat, and liner, with a hardness of HRA87 or higher, second only to diamond.

Ⅱ.Main Features

1. High Wear Resistance: Zirconia ceramic has a hardness of HRA88 or higher, exhibiting excellent wear resistance and capable of withstanding erosion from high-speed fluids and hard particulate media.

2. Corrosion Resistance:  Except for molten glass and hydrofluoric acid, it has strong resistance to corrosive media such as acids, bases, and salts.

3. High Temperature Resistance: It maintains stable performance in high-temperature environments, with a melting point of up to 2700℃.

4. Excellent Sealing Performance: The high sphericity of the ball and its self-lubricating surface characteristics enable a "zero leakage" sealing effect.

5. Long Service Life:  Through static pressure life testing by the Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, it showed no leakage after 10,000 switching cycles.

Ⅲ.Application Fields

Mining and Metallurgy: Conveying highly abrasive media such as ore slurry, tailings, and metal powders.

Power Industry: Controlling particulate materials such as pulverized coal and fly ash.

Chemical Industry: Handling corrosive fluids such as acids, bases, and salts.

Environmental Engineering: Wastewater treatment and exhaust gas treatment systems.

Food and Pharmaceutical Industries: Clean fluid transportation (requires food-grade ceramic materials).
