Introduction to Silicon Nitride Shaped Parts:

Silicon nitride shaped parts belong to a type of industrial ceramic, made from silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) material, and possess the following significant characteristics:

Physical properties: High strength, high toughness, high hardness (Mohs hardness 9-9.5), and self-lubricating properties.  Its fracture toughness is superior to most other ceramic materials.

1. Temperature resistance: Recommended operating temperature is within 1000℃ in air and within 1400℃ in a protective atmosphere. It can maintain its strength without degradation up to 1200℃.

2. Chemical stability: Corrosion-resistant and oxidation-resistant, able to withstand most acids and bases at high temperatures.

3. Other characteristics: Non-magnetic, electrically insulating, and low thermal conductivity, making it suitable for insulation and heat insulation applications.
