Silicon Nitride Ceramic Turntable Product Introduction
Silicon nitride ceramic turntables are high-performance engineering ceramic products made from high-purity silicon nitride powder as the main raw material, with the addition of sintering aids and binders. The manufacturing process typically involves isostatic pressing or hot pressing, requiring precise control of parameters such as pressure, temperature, and time to ensure product performance.
Main Features and Advantages
1. Physical Properties:
High Strength and High Hardness: Vickers hardness reaches 15-18 GPa, and flexural strength is as high as 800-1000 MPa, approaching that of alloy steel.
High Temperature Resistance: Can operate stably at high temperatures of 1200-1400℃, with short-term temperature resistance up to 1600℃.
Low Thermal Expansion Coefficient: Approximately 3.2×10⁻⁶/°C, resulting in high dimensional stability under temperature changes.
Excellent Thermal Shock Resistance: Can withstand rapid heating and cooling temperature changes above 800℃.
2. Chemical Properties:
Corrosion Resistance: Extremely strong corrosion resistance to most acids, bases, and salt solutions (except hydrofluoric acid and strong alkaline solutions).
Oxidation Resistance: A dense oxide film (SiO₂) forms on the surface at high temperatures, preventing internal oxidation.
3. Mechanical Properties:
Wear Resistance: Wear rate is more than 50% lower than that of zirconia, with a continuous working life exceeding 5000 hours.
Self-Lubricating Properties: The friction coefficient is only 0.02-0.35, requiring no additional lubricants.
Application Scenarios
