Silicon Nitride Ceramic Separator Turbine Product Introduction

1. The silicon nitride ceramic separator turbine is a high-performance ceramic component primarily used in automobile and motorcycle engines to overcome the acceleration lag problem of traditional metal turbochargers. Compared to metal turbochargers, its moment of inertia is reduced by approximately 60%, and the response time is reduced by approximately 30% under the same acceleration conditions. It can also withstand higher exhaust temperatures.

2. This product is manufactured using silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) ceramic material, which possesses excellent characteristics such as low density, high temperature resistance, creep resistance, and high hardness.  It can significantly improve engine thermal efficiency and thrust. Compared to metal blades, silicon nitride ceramic blades can withstand higher temperatures and stresses while reducing engine weight and fuel consumption.

1. Mechanical Properties:

Hardness: Vickers hardness can reach 14-16 GPa (HV ≥ 1500).

Bending strength: ≥ 800 MPa.

Fracture toughness: 6-8 MPa·m¹/².

Wear resistance: More than 10 times that of ordinary steel.

2. Thermal Properties:

Coefficient of thermal expansion: 3.2 × 10⁻⁶/℃ (close to that of metals).

Thermal conductivity: 15-30 W/m·K.

High-temperature resistance: Can maintain 90% of its room temperature strength at 1200℃.

Chemical stability: Strong corrosion resistance to most acid and alkaline media (except hydrofluoric acid and concentrated alkalis).

Coefficient of friction: 0.1-0.3 (with self-lubricating properties).
