Silicon Nitride Battery Casing Aluminum Sheet Pressing Wheel Product Introduction

The silicon nitride battery casing aluminum sheet pressing wheel is an industrial component made of silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) ceramic material, primarily used for precision pressing of aluminum sheets during battery production. This product combines the excellent properties of silicon nitride ceramics with the machinability of aluminum, and has significant application value in the field of new energy battery manufacturing.

Product Features

1. High Temperature Resistance:  Withstands high temperatures of 1200℃ for extended periods, and has a melting point of up to 1900℃, far exceeding that of metal materials (metal casings soften at 600℃).

2. Mechanical Strength: Bending strength ≥800 MPa, four times that of aluminum alloy, effectively resisting mechanical impacts such as punctures and compression.

3. Thermal Management Performance: Thermal conductivity of 20-25 W/(m·K), enabling rapid dissipation of localized hotspots; simultaneously, the nanoporous structure prevents overall heat spread.

4. Lightweight: Density of 3.2-3.4 g/cm³, only 40% of steel, allowing for a reduction in casing thickness from 1.5-2 mm to 0.8-1.2 mm, resulting in a weight reduction of over 30%.

5. Chemical Stability: Resistant to electrolyte corrosion; after immersion in 60℃ LiPF₆-based electrolyte for 1000 hours, the surface corrosion depth is <1μm (aluminum alloy >50μm).

Application Fields

1. New Energy Battery Manufacturing: Used for the precision pressing of aluminum casings for power batteries, improving battery safety and energy density.

2. Automotive Industry: Applied in Tesla's 4680 battery production line, reducing roller press friction power consumption by 55%.

3. Aerospace: Manufacturing of high-temperature resistant components, such as engine guide bushings.

4. Precision Machinery: High-precision bearings, measuring wheels, etc.
