Silicon carbide ceramic plunger sleeve product introduction:

Silicon carbide ceramic plunger sleeve is a tubular or sleeve-shaped ceramic product made from high-purity silicon carbide powder through molding and sintering processes. Its main features include high purity, high performance and versatility, and is suitable for use in high-temperature furnaces, semiconductor equipment, chemical pumps and valves and other fields.

Technical parameters and performance characteristics

1. Mechanical properties:

Hardness‌: Mohs hardness is about 9.2-9.6, second only to diamond, and can effectively resist wear and scratches.

Strength‌: bending strength 400-600MPa, compressive strength more than 2000MPa.

Elastic modulus‌: about 400-450GPa, small deformation when stressed.

Toughness‌: It has a certain toughness through advanced preparation technology and is not easy to break.

2. Thermal properties:

High temperature resistance‌: Can work stably in a high temperature environment of 1600°C. Thermal conductivity‌: 120-200W/m·K, can conduct heat quickly.

Thermal expansion coefficient‌: about 4.0×10⁻⁶/°C, high dimensional stability when temperature changes.

Thermal shock resistance‌: able to withstand rapid temperature rise and fall (such as rapid cooling and rapid heating from room temperature to 1000°C).

3. Chemical properties:

Corrosion resistance‌: It has extremely strong corrosion resistance to most acid, alkali and salt solutions (except hydrofluoric acid and strong alkali solutions).

Oxidation resistance‌: A dense oxide film (SiO₂) will be formed on the surface in a high-temperature oxidizing atmosphere.
