FAQ

Product Introduction of Silicon Carbide Ceramic Bushings:

Silicon carbide ceramic bushings are tubular wear-resistant components made from silicon carbide (SiC) as the main raw material, through molding and sintering. They belong to the category of high-tech ceramic products. Their core function is to isolate the shaft from the housing during the operation of shaft-type parts, reducing friction loss, while simultaneously bearing radial loads, preventing the intrusion of impurities, and maintaining stable performance in harsh environments such as high temperatures and corrosive conditions.

Product Features

1. High Hardness and Wear Resistance: Vickers hardness reaches 28-32 GPa (approximately 3 times that of steel), with a wear rate of <10⁻⁶ mm³/(N·m).

2. High Temperature Resistance: Can operate stably at high temperatures of 1400-1600℃.

3. Chemical Stability: Extremely resistant to strong acids, strong bases, and organic solvents.

4. Low Friction Coefficient: Only 0.001-0.003, possessing self-lubricating properties.

5. High Thermal Conductivity: Thermal conductivity reaches 120-200 W/(m·K), enabling rapid dissipation of frictional heat.

6. Lightweight: Density is only 1/3 that of steel, reducing equipment load.

Application Fields

1. Chemical Equipment: Corrosion-resistant pumps, valves, and seals.

2. Mechanical Manufacturing: Bearings, guide rails, and wear-resistant components.

3. Semiconductors: Wafer processing equipment, vacuum components.

4. New Energy: Photovoltaic cell production equipment, lithium battery equipment.

5. Power Equipment: High-temperature insulation components.

6. Medical Devices: Components requiring high corrosion resistance and biocompatibility.
