Product Introduction of Blue Zirconia Ceramic Punches

Blue zirconia ceramic punches are precision-machined components made from high-performance ceramic materials primarily composed of zirconium dioxide (ZrO₂). Zirconia ceramics are typically white at room temperature, containing trace amounts of hafnium dioxide (HfO₂) and the stabilizer yttrium oxide (Y₂O₃). Through special processes, they can be made to appear blue. This material possesses excellent properties such as high hardness (Mohs hardness 8.5-9, close to diamond), high toughness (fracture toughness above 8 MPa·m¹/²), and high bending strength.

2. Wear Resistance: 15 times greater than alumina ceramics, with a friction coefficient only half that of alumina ceramics.

3. Temperature Resistance: Melting point as high as 2953K, capable of withstanding temperatures above 1000°C.

4. Chemical Stability: Resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, and oxidation.

5. Electrical Properties: High insulation resistance and dielectric strength.
