FAQ

Alumina ceramic pumps are precision fluid transfer devices that utilize high-performance alumina ceramics as their core components, offering the following significant characteristics and application advantages:

Core Characteristics

1. Wear Resistance: Alumina ceramics have a hardness of over HRA85, providing 10-20 times the wear resistance of stainless steel. In applications such as lithium battery slurry transfer, their lifespan can exceed 5000 hours, far surpassing the 500 hours of metal pump cores. Their surface roughness can be controlled to Ra≤0.1μm, and the friction coefficient is as low as 0.02, allowing for long-term operation without lubrication.

2. Corrosion and High-Temperature Resistance: They can withstand highly corrosive media such as 98% concentrated sulfuric acid and temperatures ranging from 1300℃ to 2040℃, making them suitable for high-temperature sterilization (above 140℃ steam) or extreme chemical environments. The chemical inertness of alumina ceramics prevents the leaching of metal ions, meeting the stringent purity requirements of industries such as pharmaceuticals and semiconductors.

3. Precision Control: Through the precise fit of the ceramic plunger and sleeve, filling accuracy can reach the microliter level, with an error rate of ≤±0.5%, making them particularly suitable for the quantitative dispensing of high-value liquids such as vaccines and electrolytes.
