99.7% alumina ceramic wheels are high-purity industrial ceramic products with the following core characteristics and applications:

Material Characteristics

1. High Purity and Density: Al₂O₃ content is over 99.7%, density is 3.94-3.97 g/cm³, Vickers hardness ≥17 GPa, and three-point bending strength is 440-550 MPa. Thermal conductivity is 30 W/(m·K), and thermal diffusivity is 0.0968 cm²/s, making it suitable for high-temperature environments.

2. Mechanical and Chemical Properties: Rockwell hardness HRA ≥85, wear resistance is more than 10 times that of 316L stainless steel, and it has excellent acid and alkali corrosion resistance. It exhibits outstanding electrical insulation performance, with a room temperature resistivity of 10¹⁵ Ω·cm and an insulation strength of 15 kV/mm.


Application Scenarios

1. Industrial Wear-Resistant Components

• Used in mechanical bearings, seals, cutting tools, etc., with a friction coefficient as low as 0.05.

• Used as grinding discs in semiconductor manufacturing to avoid metal contamination and improve silicon wafer processing efficiency.

2. High-Temperature and Precision Equipment

• Withstands temperatures up to 1800℃, suitable for high-temperature components such as furnace tubes and crucibles.

• Used in precision devices such as EUV lithography machine fixtures and 5G radio frequency substrates, with thermal deformation <1μm.
