FAQ

The application of alumina ceramics in EF ceramic chucks for photovoltaic equipment is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

I. Material Property Advantages

1. High thermal conductivity: Alumina ceramics have a thermal conductivity of 170-230 W/(m·K), which can quickly dissipate the heat generated during the processing of photovoltaic equipment, preventing material deformation or performance degradation caused by temperature rise.

2. Low thermal expansion coefficient: Its thermal expansion coefficient (4.5×10⁻⁶/℃) is close to that of silicon-based photovoltaic materials, which reduces the risk of cracks caused by thermal stress and improves the compatibility between the chuck and the wafer.

3. High insulation and wear resistance: It has high resistivity and excellent hardness, making it suitable for electrostatic adsorption in high-voltage environments while resisting long-term friction and wear.

Ⅱ.Application Scenarios in Photovoltaic Equipment

1. Multi-piece suction cup assembly: Alumina ceramic suction cups, through an integrated porous structure design, achieve efficient fixation of photovoltaic panels. Compared with traditional metal suction cups, they provide more uniform suction force and possess anti-static properties.

2. Thinning and cutting processes: In wafer thinning and cutting processes, its dense microporous structure prevents silicon powder adsorption, reduces chipping and fragmentation risks, and improves processing yield.

3. Corrosion resistance and lightweight design: Strong chemical stability makes it suitable for corrosive environments in photovoltaic manufacturing; the porous structure design reduces overall weight, facilitating equipment integration.
