Alumina Ceramic Valve Sleeve Product Introduction
Alumina ceramic valve sleeves are industrial valve components made from ceramic materials primarily composed of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), mainly used in corrosive media transportation systems. Their main components include aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), zirconium oxide (ZrO₂), and silicon dioxide (SiO₂).
1. Main Features and Advantages:
• Ultra-high hardness and wear resistance: Mohs hardness reaches 9 (second only to diamond), and wear resistance is 5-10 times that of metal valves.
• Excellent corrosion resistance: Can resist strong acids, strong bases, and organic solvents; only a few media such as hydrofluoric acid cause significant corrosion.
• Excellent high-temperature resistance: Can withstand high temperatures of 1200℃ for a long time, with a melting point of up to 2050℃.
• Excellent sealing performance: High surface finish (Ra≤0.2μm), enabling zero-leakage sealing.
• Lightweight design: Density is only 1/3 of that of metal (3.75-3.85 g/cm³).
2. Technical Parameters
Density: 3.75-3.85 g/cm³
Hardness: Rockwell HRA89, Mohs 9
Bending strength: ≥300 MPa
Compressive strength: 2500 MPa

3. Application Fields
• Chemical industry: Transportation of highly corrosive media such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and sodium hydroxide.
• Metallurgy industry: Control of highly abrasive media such as blast furnace gas, ore slurry, and steel slag.
• Power industry: Ash and slag treatment in coal-fired power plants, desulfurization and denitrification systems.
• Environmental protection: Wastewater treatment, fly ash treatment from waste incineration.
• Oil and gas: High-pressure pipelines resistant to H₂S corrosion.
