99% alumina ceramic support is a high-performance special ceramic product made from alumina (α-Al₂O₃) with a purity of over 99%. This material possesses the following remarkable characteristics:
1. High mechanical strength: Flexural strength ≥ 290 MPa, compressive strength up to 1910-2300 MPa, and fracture toughness ≥ 4.8 MPa·m¹/².
2. Excellent hardness: Mohs hardness of 8.8-9.0 (second only to diamond), Rockwell hardness HRA ≥ 80, and wear resistance 10-20 times greater than stainless steel.
3. High temperature resistance: Melting point up to 2075℃, capable of stable operation at high temperatures of 1700℃ for extended periods, with a thermal expansion coefficient of only 7.2-8.0 × 10⁻⁶ m/m·K.
4. Insulation and corrosion resistance: Dielectric constant of 9.2-9.8 (25℃@1MHz), volume resistivity of 10¹⁴ Ω·cm, and excellent corrosion resistance to most acids and bases.
