Zirconia Pump and Valve Product Introduction
1. Zirconia pumps and valves are special valves made of zirconia ceramic (ZrO₂), primarily used in the nuclear energy industry and high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive environments. Thanks to the high performance of zirconia ceramic material, they can operate stably for extended periods in high-temperature, high-pressure, and complex chemical environments.
2. Main products include ball valves, gate valves, and globe valves, designed according to domestic and international standards such as HG, GB, and API. In industrial applications, zirconia pumps and valves effectively resist erosion from high-speed fluid media and wear from particulate matter, significantly extending the service life of the valves.
Product Features
1. Wear Resistance: Hardness can reach over 8.5 on the Mohs scale, Rockwell hardness is over HRA88, flexural strength exceeds 800 MPa, and compressive strength exceeds 3000 MPa.
2. Corrosion Resistance: It can resist the erosion of most acids, bases, salts, and other chemical media, and has excellent resistance to acidic and alkaline media such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and nitric acid, as well as salt solutions.
3. High Temperature Stability: The melting point is as high as 2700℃, allowing it to maintain stable mechanical properties in high-temperature environments.
4. Excellent Sealing Performance: The surface finish reaches W2 level (ultra-precision machining standard), and combined with the unique self-lubricating properties of zirconia ceramics, it can achieve a "zero leakage" sealing effect.
5. Lightweight Design: It has a low density (approximately 3.5-4.5 g/cm³), making it lighter than traditional metal materials.
Application Fields
Due to their excellent performance, zirconia pumps and valves are widely used in the following fields:
1. Energy and Power: Boiler steam pipelines, flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, and ash and slag removal devices in thermal power plants.
2. Chemical and Metallurgy: Acid, alkali, and salt media transfer valves in petroleum refining and chemical reactors, and slurry control valves for media containing particles/fibers.
3. Pharmaceutical Industry: Filling and metering of aqueous injections, lyophilized powder injections, and oral and topical liquid preparations.
4. Industrial and Engineering: High-pressure and high-flow applications such as hydraulic systems and oil extraction, as well as applications requiring flow control.
