Silicon Nitride Ceramic Rod Product Introduction

Silicon nitride ceramic rods are advanced ceramic materials primarily composed of silicon nitride (Si₃N₄), possessing the following significant characteristics:

1. High Strength and High Hardness: Vickers hardness reaches 1400-1600 HV, twice that of high-speed steel, and compressive strength exceeds 1800 MPa.

2. High Temperature Resistance: Can operate stably at high temperatures up to 1200°C, with a thermal shock resistance temperature difference of 800°C.

3. Self-Lubricating Properties: A nanoscale SiO₂ oxide film forms on the surface, resulting in a low friction coefficient of 0.05-0.1.

4. Chemical Stability: Resistant to most acids, bases, and molten metals, with an oxidation temperature threshold as high as 1300°C.

5. Low Thermal Expansion Coefficient: 3.2 × 10⁻⁶/K, close to that of semiconductor chips (Si, SiC), providing good thermal matching.
