Product Introduction of Silicon Nitride Ceramic Inner Sleeves
Silicon nitride ceramic inner sleeves are tubular parts made from silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) material, possessing excellent high-temperature resistance and chemical stability. Silicon nitride is a high-performance ceramic material bonded by strong covalent bonds, and its microstructure is typically composed of interwoven elongated β-Si₃N₄ grains. It has the following performance characteristics:
1. Mechanical Properties: Vickers hardness of over 1800 HV (HRA 90+), flexural strength up to 600-800 MPa, and fracture toughness KIC of 6-8 MPa·m¹/².
2. Thermal Properties: Thermal conductivity of 20-30 W/m·K, thermal expansion coefficient of approximately 3.2×10⁻⁶/℃, and can withstand rapid cooling and heating cycles with ΔT ≥ 800°C.
3. Chemical Stability: Resistant to corrosion from most acids and bases (except hydrofluoric acid and concentrated strong bases), with an oxidation resistance temperature of over 1400℃.
4. Electrical Properties: Dielectric strength up to 20-30 kV/mm, and room temperature resistivity of 10¹⁵–10¹⁶ Ω·cm.
Application Fields
1. Aerospace: Aircraft engine turbine bearings, capable of withstanding high-temperature gas impact up to 1500℃.
2. New Energy Vehicles: Motor bearings, achieving a 30% weight reduction and operating in high-temperature environments above 200℃.
3. Chemical and Energy: Linings for equipment such as reactors and heat exchangers, with a corrosion resistance life 5 times longer than that of metals.
4. Semiconductors: Power module substrates, possessing both high insulation (>10 kV) and heat dissipation capabilities.
5. Metallurgical Industry: Rotating components in steelmaking furnaces, resistant to high-temperature oxidation and mechanical wear.
