Automobile transmission system bears frequent shifting impact and high-speed rotation. Traditional steel bearings are easy to heat and wear. Silicon nitride balls are used in automobile gearboxes and transmission bearings to improve transmission efficiency and durability.

High temperature resistance adapts to engine compartment environment. The temperature of automobile engine compartment is often higher than 100℃. Silicon nitride balls maintain stable hardness without thermal softening.


Energy saving effect reduces fuel consumption. Low friction coefficient reduces transmission power loss. Automobiles equipped with silicon nitride bearings can reduce fuel consumption by 2% to 4% under the same driving conditions.


At present, high-end fuel vehicles and new energy electric vehicles adopt silicon nitride transmission bearings. With the upgrading of automobile industry, the penetration rate will continue to increase.
