There are both domestic and imported silicon nitride balls in the industrial market. There are obvious differences in raw materials, processing technology, precision grade and price. Enterprises need to select products according to usage scenarios and budget.

Imported balls adopt high-purity imported raw powder with low impurity content. The sintering process is mature, with uniform crystal structure and extremely low internal pores. The precision grade is mainly G5 ultra-precision level, suitable for aerospace and medical high-end fields.

Domestic silicon nitride balls have cost advantages. Raw materials are locally produced with moderate purity. The sintering technology is steadily improved, and the mainstream precision grade is G10 and G16, which meets the needs of general industrial equipment.

Price gap is obvious. The unit price of imported high-precision balls is 2 to 3 times higher than domestic products. Domestic balls have high cost performance and are suitable for mass industrial production.

Delivery cycle and after-sales service differ greatly. Domestic manufacturers have sufficient inventory and short delivery cycle. Imported products have long customs clearance cycle and complicated after-sales maintenance procedures.

At present, the quality of domestic silicon nitride balls is gradually approaching the international advanced level. Conventional industrial scenarios can completely replace imported products to reduce procurement cost.
